Contact messages
Form submissions are stored in a private WordPress inbox accessible to authorized administrators. They are not published as comments and are not automatically emailed to an outside mailbox. We use the information to review and respond to your request. Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing.
To reduce repeated submissions, the form briefly stores a keyed hash derived from the connection’s IP address. This expires after two minutes. The inbox does not store the raw IP address with your message; this does not prevent separate web-server logging.
Inbox messages become eligible for deletion after 90 days. Cleanup runs through scheduled maintenance, administrator visits and new submissions; deletion occurs at the next such run. Deleted information may remain in backups until those backups are rotated. If we respond by email, the resulting correspondence is also handled by the email providers involved.
Browser storage and cookies
Saved saddles and comparison selections use browser local storage. These selections remain until you remove them using the website controls or clear this site’s data in your browser. Product selections are sent to the website when needed to load the requested comparison or saved list; they are not a public profile.
Administrator authentication uses WordPress cookies. You do not need an account to read reviews. We have not added a visitor analytics service, advertising pixel or Awin MasterTag to the website.
Retailer links and affiliate tracking
Links to Horse Saddle Shop redirect through Awin. Following one allows Awin and the retailer to process the referral, including click identifiers and technical request information. They may use cookies or similar technology to attribute a subsequent purchase, subject to their own settings and notices.
Read Awin’s Privacy Policy and cookie information. Review the retailer’s privacy notice when visiting its website. We do not receive your payment-card details or process your order. See our affiliate disclosure.
External services and reference links
Some pages load fonts, icons or interface libraries from Google Fonts, Cloudflare’s cdnjs and jsDelivr. Your browser connects to these services to request those files, which exposes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to the provider. Their processing is governed by their own notices: Google, Cloudflare and jsDelivr.
Hosting, database and backup services process information needed to operate the website. Their processing locations and log or backup retention depend on the services used. External websites linked as sources have their own policies; a link does not make their data handling part of this website.
Your choices and requests
- Remove saved models or comparisons, or clear the site’s stored data through your browser settings.
- Use browser cookie and privacy controls, and review consent choices offered by Awin and retailers.
- Use the contact form to ask about information you submitted or request access, correction or deletion. Include only enough detail to identify your request.
The rights available to you depend on the law that applies to your situation. We may need information to verify a request before disclosing or changing personal data. You may also be able to raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.
